Executive Director

Hillary is a life-long Idahoan with over sixteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector. With degrees in English and Accounting, as well as an MFA in Writing, Hillary enjoys streamlining systems and highlighting missions. For the past twelve years, she has helped raise The Cabin, a center for readers & writers in Boise, Idaho, and very recently returned to the Wood River Valley with her family. When not at work, you can find her reading, sewing, or porch sitting with Tiedye the rescue cat.

Manager of Gardens & Facilities
Responsibilities include holding down the fort, fixing all the stuff, maintaining a sense of humor, using her creativity for good, and making us all laugh at least three times each day.

Development & Admin Coordinator
Sharon is the brains behind our bookkeeping, keeping our number organized and our bills paid. As part of our small but mighty team, she also is our special events manager.

Favorite Garden Space: Sharon’s Fairy Garden (it’s in the Greenhouse!)
Special skills: Saving the world one lost pet at a time, globetrotting, and French Bulldog cuddling.

Community Engagement Coordinator
Megan is good at herding cats. An adept herbalist and talented gardener, Megan also heads up SBG's educational programming and can't wait to find the first morel at the Garden.

Visitor Services Assistant

If you’ve spent time with us at the Garden, no doubt Nancy is a familiar face. She is tasked with welcoming the world to the Garden, occasional plant maintenance, and, importantly, keeping tabs on local lore.

With his precision mowing and willingness to get out there even in the heat of the day, our robomower, Blade, has become an honored member of our team.
